These terms govern your use of ThreatScout, a threat-intelligence service operated by FindingThreat. By running a scan or purchasing a plan you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
ThreatScout produces risk assessments by correlating public and commercial intelligence sources. Reports are provided for informational and research purposes only. They are not legal, financial or professional security advice, and they are not a guarantee that a target is malicious or safe. You are responsible for verifying any finding before acting on it, and for how you use it.
You may use the service only for lawful purposes and only on assets and entities you are authorised to investigate. You must not use ThreatScout to harass individuals, to make decisions about employment or credit, or to attempt to access systems you do not own. Automated access is permitted only through the documented API within your plan's request limits; scraping the interface, reselling reports as your own intelligence product, or attempting to bypass rate limits is prohibited and may result in suspension.
Paid plans are billed through PayPal as described at checkout. One-time report purchases are non-refundable once the report has been delivered. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the current period. We may change or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FindingThreat is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service or reliance on its output. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of business, and disputes will be handled in the courts there.
